1. General information
This policy explains the data use and third-party services of the Wordello mobile word game published by Sova Game Studio.
Wordello has no user accounts and no login. We do not operate our own servers and we do not maintain a user database. Your game progress — the level you have reached, your coins and gems, your purchased tile themes and your sound settings — is stored only in local storage on your own device.
2. Services used
- Google AdMob: used to show ads, measure ad performance, and manage ad preferences. AdMob may also serve ads through Unity Ads as a mediation partner.
- Unity: used for the game engine and for in-app purchase processing.
- Firebase Analytics and Firebase Installations: used for usage analytics and anonymous app-instance identification.
- Firebase Crashlytics: used for crash and stability reports so we can fix problems in the game. Crash reports include device model, operating system version and the technical state of the app at the moment of the crash.
These are the only third parties with whom Wordello shares user data. Each of them acts as a data processor for Sova Game Studio under its own published data protection terms, and each is contractually required to provide the same or equal protection of user data as stated in this privacy policy. We do not sell user data, and we do not share user data with any party other than the processors listed above. The same commitment applies to any parent, subsidiary or other related entity of Sova Game Studio that may have access to this data.
3. Data types
Wordello may process technical data such as ad interactions, app usage statistics, device information, crash and performance diagnostics, and in-app purchase status. Purchase payments are processed by the App Store or Google Play depending on your device; Sova Game Studio does not store payment card information.
Wordello does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone, camera or location. Word validation runs entirely on your device using the language models shipped inside the app, so the words you play are never sent to a server.
4. Ad preferences
On iOS, when you first open Wordello the app asks for your permission to track using Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. If you decline, your advertising identifier is not used to personalize ads, and the game remains fully playable. You can change this at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
On Android, you can manage personalized ad preferences from your device settings or your Google ad settings.
5. Children's privacy
Wordello does not knowingly aim to collect personal information from children under 13. Parents may contact us for support requests.
6. Data retention and deletion
Because Wordello keeps no user database, there is no account for us to delete. Data is retained as follows:
- On your device. Game progress and settings stay on the device until you delete them. Deleting the app removes them permanently. This data never reaches us.
- Analytics and crash diagnostics. These are held by Google (Firebase) on our behalf and are deleted automatically at the end of the retention period configured for our Firebase project. Crash reports are kept only as long as they are useful for fixing the reported problem.
- Advertising data. Ad interaction data is held by Google AdMob under Google's own retention schedule. If you decline tracking, no advertising identifier is associated with this data.
- Purchases. Purchase records are held by Apple or Google as the seller of record. We receive only the fact that a purchase was completed, which is what allows Restore Purchases to work.
You can ask us to delete the diagnostic and analytics data associated with your device at any time. See section 7 for how.
7. Your rights and how to exercise them
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the data described above, and you may withdraw a consent you have previously given.
To withdraw consent. On iOS, turn tracking off for Wordello in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking; you can also reopen the ad consent form at any time from inside the game under the gear icon › Ad Preferences. On Android, use Ad Preferences in the same place, or your device's Google ad settings. Withdrawing consent stops personalized advertising and does not limit any part of the game.
To request access or deletion. Email support@sovagamestudio.com with the subject line “Wordello data request”. Please tell us which platform you play on (iOS or Android) and your device model, so that we can locate the correct diagnostic records. We will confirm receipt and complete the request within 30 days. There is no charge for this, and we will not ask you to create an account in order to make the request.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use your data will also be reflected in the consent screen shown inside the game.
